We at DDW recently had the privilege to work with Heather Wolframe on logo design for her mobile dental hygiene business, which will be operating in Ontario, Canada.
Together with Ms. Wolframe, we explored a number of options after researching the market and seeing what other dental businesses were doing with their brands. Typically dental businesses often incorporated a toothbrush or a tooth shape into their logos. So many did this, we decided to follow suit would be very unoriginal.
We encouraged a more subtle approach. The green circle references a traffic light while the arrow above the eye gives a sense of forward motion. These elements speak to the mobile nature of the business. The colours are modern and fresh. The resulting simplicity of the logo design allows our client to use the brand in a number of ways without being cliché.
We had a great time working on this project and wish all the best to the new venture. For her part, Ms. Wolframe had this to say of working with DDW:
